Artist Statement
I have been painting and drawing all my life. I recently left a full time teaching job to pursue my art full time. I mainly work in acrylic and enjoy color and texture in my work. Many of my paintings are inspired by nature, songs, or my own creative visions given to me by the creator. I love the process, experimenting with marks, texture and color. You may also see some words and collage work in my paintings. My art is very playful with the use of marks and color and my hope is that it brings some joy and happiness into the world and your home.
