Sitting at my dads’ drawing board by age nine I was visually drawn to design, proportion, use of space and color. Studying and teaching art principles in textiles, culinary, clothing and interior design expanded into time for quilting, mixed media, watercolor and my kitchen and bath design business.
Visual memories of the various environments that I have experienced State side and abroad give me a wealth of challenges to paint in watercolor; the medium that I am experimenting with through workshops and classes, led by artists whose work I admire.
