Artist Statement

Dina Rhoden makes mixed media collages with the hope that the burst of colors brings people a little joy. Since life is challenging, she tries to create unique experiences with circles that represent love and wholeness. The collages with squares are aerial views of make-believe, fun cities, 

Dina lives in Bend, Oregon, with her family and dogs. In her past she has been a director of social work agency, a professor of poetry and writing, a grief recovery counselor, and a jewelry maker.
