Artist Statement

Adopting the attitude that “It’s all practice” has allowed me freedom to explore. I start a challenging painting, attempting new skills and concepts. I’d like to move more toward abstraction and simplification, seeing how much I can communicate with fewest brushstrokes. I’m not there yet, but I’m practicing. ​
