Artist Statement

   JoAnn has been involved with Pastel Art for the last 15 plus years. She is also a Partner at Hood Avenue Art Gallery in Sisters, OR.  where she shows her work and shares in the operation of the business.  JoAnn's area of specialty includes pastel landscapes and abstracts.  Most recently, she is experimenting with other mixed media and different forms of artwork.

   Prior to moving to Sisters, she participated in several local art shows including: Bellevue Festival of the Arts, Bend Summer Festival, Sunriver Artist Festival & Salem Arts Festival.  She thinks of herself as "always a learner" and loves to engage with art whenever possible.  Her studio is at her home in Sisters, Oregon.
